Our guest house is located on the local island of Naifaru, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives.

How can I get to the One The Island guest house?
We can organise the transport and provide you with the detailed arrangements in advance.
Your mode of transport can vary:
Speedboat: these transfers can be as long as 2.5 hours.
Departure is at 13:05 daily.
One way ticket is $60 per person.
Domestic Flight: these transfers are to a nearby island and usually take 30 minutes.
One way ticket is $150 per person. Round-trip is $200.
What is the difference between resorts and local islands?
Maldives consists of more than a thousand islands scattered in the azure Indian Ocean and only some of them are inhabited. Inhabited islands fall into two categories: luxury resort islands that are entirely occupied by hotels and local islands, where the locals live and daily life flows.
Can I drink alcohol whilst staying at the guest house?
Alcohol is prohibited on local islands in the Maldives and you can only purchase and consume it within the premises of the resorts that have acquired permits for sale/consumption of alcohol.

Are there any activities on Naifaru Island?

What to wear when visiting local residential islands?
Maldives is a Muslim country. To visit local residential islands or airports, you should dress modestly and should be covered from shoulder to knee. For example, you could wear a top with jeans or a skirt.
Is there a beach attached to the hotel for sunbathing and swimming?
We have 2 beaches next to us, however, to visit local residential beaches you should dress modestly and should be covered from shoulder to knee.
The best option is Bikini Beach Day off the island which can easily be arranged.
